IFMA's Largest Chapter Needs a New Look

The Boston Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) had been utilizing a very tired logo and an even more tired website that was a legacy from years past. As the chapter grew to be one of the international organization's largest chapters with more than 700 members, the Board of Directors determined that it was time to establish a brand identity that reflected its success and strength.

Enter Celebrate
Celebrate has worked with the organization for more than five years as a consultant and for more than 10 as a member prior to that, so we were very familiar with the target audience of members, prospective members, and sponsors. We were brought in to develop a new brand identity and to implement this identity across all of their various media, including a quarterly newsletter, yearly member directory, stationery, event promotions and web site.

Results Worth Celebrating
The results speak for themselves. We utilized the image of the Bunker Hill Zakim Bridge to establish the organization's strength within the Boston marketplace and established an icon that is easily utilized across all of their programs and advertisements. We launched the website in the spring of '08 with future advancements slated for the upcoming program year.

IFMA Boston's print newsletter "The InForMAnt" received Newsletter of the Year by IFMA International at their World Workplace conference in Dallas in October 2008.
