Bond Brothers Construction Celebrates its 100th Year in Business

As part of their Centennial celebration year, the fourth generation of Bond Brothers Construction wanted to honor their employees, clients, retirees, and colleagues. The theme of the anniversary year, 2007, was appropriately set as "Bond 007", but the Bond Brothers executives and marketing team needed help to establish the brand and identity and implement this important year's worth of activities.

Enter Celebrate
Celebrate came on board with the Bond Brothers team midway through 2006, the year prior to their anniversary, which enabled us to work with the group to outline all of the key marketing opportunities available to them. Celebrate outlined and budgeted all of the potential activities, including several employee and client focused events, holiday recognitions, potential advertising scenarios and a public relations plan. After these ideas were presented to the executive and marketing teams, it was determined that we would move forward with an employee holiday event, a client appreciation event, a holiday program and a Centennial publication.

Results worth Celebrating
By unifying all of the activities with the Bond 007 brand we were able to cross promote all of the activities and create a buzz around each event.
  • Over 420 employees and their spouses attended the Bond 007 License to Build kick-off event in January, which represented a more than 84% acceptance rate.
  • Over 350 clients, colleagues, and employees attended the Bond 007 License to Thrill event in October, which represented a more than 35% acceptance rate.
  • Many clients, colleagues and staff made it a point to compliment the magazine and mention that they had read it cover to cover.
  • There were specific situations where past or potential clients had received Centennial materials and either made a call or accepted a call - thus opening the door for renewed relationships and potential business

The full promotional campaign received an Honorary Mention in the Promotional Campaign category of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Marketing Communication Awards in Denver this August.
